Your camping trip will be different if you bring your trailer. Although you may be tempted to pack more than you actually need, your travel trailer will quickly feel cramped if you bring too much.

Preparing for your first trip in a travel trailer is a good idea. Make a list of all the things you absolutely must have. You can also refer to my checklist below. These are the essentials that will get you through the trip without the need to stop at a shop. You’ll often find that you can do without a lot of these essentials.
